South Carolina running back has surgery on injured ACL
South Carolina freshman RB C.J. Freeman injured his ACL this year as he redshirted for the Gamecocks.
On Friday, he had surgery to repair the damage, which will likely keep him out of spring practices, according to The State.
Freeman posted a photo on Twitter after the surgery, thanking God for a successful procedure:

The former three-star recruit will likely be ready for the 2017 fall practice slate as he prepares for his redshirt freshman season.
