South Carolina just added another playmaker to the program’s list of current commitments as Pensacola, Fla., native Simeon Price has announced his pledge to join Will Muschamp’s program on Wednesday. The South Carolina coach has confirmed the commitment with his trademark “Spurs Up!” tweet.

The 6-foot, 204-pound West Florida Tech High School standout is rated as a three-star prospect and the No. 121 overall receiver in the nation for the 2021 recruiting cycle according to 247Sports Composite Rankings. He picked South Carolina over scholarship offers from Arkansas, Louisville, Kansas State, Michigan State, Cincinnati, Colorado State and FAU, among others.

Following this news, South Carolina now holds commitments from 12 prospects in the 2021 recruiting cycle. The Gamecocks currently have the No. 11 recruiting class in the SEC.

Price plays on both sides of the ball for West Florida Tech and has a knack for making big plays on the outside, as you can see in his junior season highlight reel.
