Video: Clowney completely blows up Chiefs' run play
The career of DE/OLB Jadevon Clowney has been a bit of an adventure thus far in the NFL.
Drafted No. 1 overall by the Houston Texans, Clowney hasn’t quite lived up to the mass hype he had when entering from South Carolina. Clowney came into this season with only 4.5 sacks through his first two seasons in the professional ranks.
However, there have been flashes of his immense ability — as evidenced in today’s game versus Kansas City.
You literally can not run any play that involves trap blocking Jadeveon Clowney. https://t.co/lE5lojplru

Coming off of the edge with his hand in the dirt, Clowney discarded and disengaged from two blockers before exploding forward to tackle the ball carrier for a loss in the backfield.
It’s plays like these that have the Texans salivating at the potential pass-rushing capabilities of both Clowney and star J.J. Watt.
