Will this finally be the year that Arkansas wins the SEC West? Can this team recover from losing head coach Bobby Petrino? There are more questions than answers right now for the Hogs, but this team does have the talent and experience to win a championship. Arkansas quarterback Tyler Wilson completed 68 percent of his passes, and the Hogs offense outplayed the defense in the first scrimmage of spring practice. The 144-play scrimmage saw the offensive starters go against the first team defense for a few series, before head coach Bobby Petrino switched things up, with first teamers vs. second teamers.

When Arkansas Head Coach Bobby Petrino took the reins for the Hogs in 2008, he inherited a team that was depleted at almost every position, none more glaring than the defensive secondary. Arkansas was burned for deep scores on a regular basis in those first two years of Coach Petrino’s tenure. Now, things are slightly different.
