On paper, this looks like a great match-up of a prolific offense versus a nasty, stingy defense. LSU’s defense will be put to the test, but they are talented and deep enough to stop this State rushing offense. It will be your classic SEC football game, only played on Thursday night.

Mississippi State: Can The Bulldogs Bully The Bayou Bengals?
Perhaps the short week is a blessing for the Bulldogs, who will be playing on their home turf for the first time this season. After all, the last thing a team needs to do is sit around and feel sorry for themselves after a loss. For MSU to have a chance at upsetting the Bayou Bengals, they will have to play a nearly flawless game. While it’s definitely a tall task, victory is possible for the home team if improvement is made in a few key areas.
