Texas A&M lands commitment from talented safety
While Texas A&M has looked bad in recent recruiting news, talented safety Derrick Tucker committed to the Aggies Friday.
Tucker is the country’s No. 14 overall safety in the country and the state of Texas’ No. 22 overall prospect.

The 6-foot-2, 195-pound Manvel, Texas, product committed to the Aggies over Texas, TCU, Alabama, Arkansas, Ole Miss and Mizzou, among others. The four-star prospect became the Aggies’ sixth commitment in the 2017 recruiting class.
With Tucker’s commitment, the Aggies receive a bit of good news in recruiting after last week’s Twitter fiasco involving assistant coach Aaron Moorehead. Hopefully Tucker’s pledge will create some positive momentum in helping build out the 2017 recruiting class.
