Kenny will try and re-invent the Trill in the Big XII in 2016.

Former Texas A&M quarterback Kenny Hill, a sophomore last fall who exploded onto the scene with a 511-yard outing at South Carolina in the season opener, told the Star-Telegram Thursday he’s ready to start classes at TCU in June.

Hill announced in January a plan to leave the Aggies and play elsewhere for his remaining two years of eligibility. He won’t be eligible to play this season for Gary Patterson’s team, but looks to be the odds-on favorite to replace Heisman candidate and senior Trevone Boykin under center in 2016.

He’s an ideal fit for the Horned Frogs’ uptempo spread offense.

Hill lost his starting job to Aggies quarterback Kyle Allen during the second half of last season after serving a two-game suspension for violating team rules. Texas A&M and Kevin Sumlin granted his release before the start of spring practice.
