After riding the bench for most of the season, Cleveland Browns first-round pick Johnny Manziel will get his first start of the season at quarterback when the Browns take on the Cincinnati Bengals this Sunday, according to multiple news outlets.

Manziel, the 22nd overall pick of the 2014 NFL draft out of Texas A&M, replaces Brian Hoyer, who has struggled in recent weeks. Two weeks ago, Manziel relieved Hoyer and scored his first NFL touchdown on a scramble on his first drive of the game.

The Browns are 7-6 and currently in last place in the AFC North, but are just a 1.5 games behind the 8-4-1 Bengals for first place. Cincinnati coach Marvin Lewis addressed the matchup with Manziel and the Browns on Monday, referring to the 6-foot quarterback as a “midget.” Lewis later apologized for his remarks.

In three appearances this year, Manziel has completed 5-of-9 passes for 63 yards and rushed for 13 yards and a touchdown.
