Earlier this morning it was reported that Texas A&M linebacker Josh Walker had been arrested Friday night on charges of assault causing bodily injury to a family member, and interfering with emergency requested for assistance.

Initial reports did not include which family member was involved. However, now the Houston Chronicle’s Brent Zwerneman says the alleged assault involved Walker and his girlfriend.

Walker, a junior, was booked into the Brazos County Detention Center at 10:10 p.m., according to the Brazos County Sheriff’s Office. Bond was set for $9,000 ($5,000 for the bodily injury to a family member charge and $4,000 for the emergency request for assistance charge).
