Fan appreciation days are a great way for a school’s most recognizable ambassadors to meet alumni and fans.

Over 1,000 Texas A&M fans did just that on Saturday, according to the Bryan-College Station Eagle, as the Aggies football team had a chance to talk with those who cheer them on game days.

Star defensive end Myles Garrett may intimidate opposing quarterbacks, but he didn’t intimidate his biggest fan. Eight-year-old Faith Grahmann brought a present for her favorite player that represented a mutual interest: A T-shirt that showed a dinosaur playing football.

The Eagle reports that Garrett immediately put on the shirt and proudly displayed it for the rest of the event.

“It was super cool. I was really anxious though,” Grahmann told the Eagle. “I thought, ‘Wow, I can’t believe this is happening.'”
