The Texas A&M Aggies parted ways with coach Billy Kennedy after the conclusion of the 2018-19 season, hiring Virginia Tech coach Buzz Williams.

Now, Kennedy is in the mix for another job, and it’ll be interesting to see if he lands the open Conference USA position.

Per Jeff Goodman of Stadium, Kennedy is being considered for the Southern Miss head coaching job along with some other candidates:

Kennedy has the most experience as a Division I head coach of the bunch. He spent eight years at A&M, going 151-116 overall. For his career, he’s 361-294, spending time at A&M, Murray State, Southeastern Louisiana and Centenary.

He won the SEC regular-season title during the 2015-16 season.
