The Maui Invitational is one of the most prestigious preseason tournaments in all of college basketball.

Last year, Georgia represented the SEC in the field, which also included Dayton, Michigan State and other top teams.

Now, according to college basketball insider Jon Rothstein, Texas A&M will head to Maui to participate in the 2020-21 version of the Maui Invitational:

Wisconsin, Oregon, Butler, Saint Mary’s, Notre Dame, Houston and, of course, Chaminade (the host school) are also set to be in the tournament field, per Rothstein.

Can the Aggies fare better than Georgia did this past year (1-2 with the 1 win a last-second victory over Chaminade)? Hopefully, we’ll get to find out this fall.
