Texas A&M will host Appalachian State in 2022
Texas A&M is adding a future home game against one of the best G5 programs in the nation.
The Aggies will play Appalachian State on Sept. 10, 2022. If accurate, Texas A&M now has two out of conference games lined up for the 2022 season. The Aggies have already announced they will host Miami on Sept. 17 in 2022. The program makes the return trip to Miami in 2023.
Feldman broke the news on Twitter Friday morning:
Appalachian State will travel to College Station, Texas, to take on the Texas A&M Aggies on Sept. 10, 2022… Will be very surprised if some Power 5 hasn’t hired Scott Satterfield away by then.

Appalachian State has since confirmed the news. The school’s Director of Athletics Doug Gillin added this comment via statement:
“We’re excited to add another nationally recognized program like Texas A&M to our future football schedule. The trip to Texas should be a great experience for our team and fan base.”
