With the NFL Draft just a few hours away, rumors are flying around at breakneck speed.

On Wednesday, ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter reported that he was hearing the Browns were considering selecting former North Carolina quarterback Mitchell Trubisky. That news came as a large shock to many as former Texas A&M star Myles Garrett has long been the consensus choice as the best player in the draft.

Although it’s impossible to know for certain, it now seems the Browns are indeed looking at picking Garrett. According to cleveland.com, multiple league sources expect Garrett to be the first player off the board.

It’s unclear whether Cleveland was trying to bluff someone into trading with them and moving into the first spot, or if the Browns really have flipped their thinking in the past 24 hours. As of now, however, it appears the SEC could have the No. 1 draft pick for the fifth time in the past 11 years.
