Are you tired hearing about Texas A&M quarterbacks yet?

Earlier this week, the Aggies’ seemingly never-ending issues at the position continued when 5-star quarterback Tate Martell — the No. 1 dual-threat in the class of 2017 — decommitted and re-opened his recruitment. He’s now expected to land with Ohio State, per 247Sports’ crystal ball predictions.

The drama doesn’t end there, unfortunately.

Incoming freshman Nick Starkel, a 3-star pro-style from the ’16 class, posted a private conversation between Martell and an unknown person via Twitter direct messaging on Friday evening. Martell tells the recipient that he would “start as a true freshman easy” at Texas A&M, stating that his competition — Starkel — wasn’t all that great.

The post has since been deleted, but this is the Internet and it doesn’t take much to screen grab anything:

Martell DM leak

Yikes.

There’s a lot of tension going on around College Station, and this just adds to what’s been a disastrous last few months for the Texas A&M football program — particularly within the last week.
