Many are predicting expectations to be somewhat mild for the Texas A&M football program heading into the 2017 season, but judging by the student ticket sales, those predictions couldn’t be further from the truth.

The school announced Friday that the entire 35,000 available student tickets to purchase have been bought up by the young Aggie faithful. The 2017 season marks the seventh consecutive season in which all student tickets have been sold in College Station.

Here are some additional figures provided by the school provided with the announcement that all the student tickets have been purchased for the upcoming season.

  • Texas A&M’s student section ranks as the largest in college football.
  • Texas A&M sold more than 35,000 student sports passes in 2017, which is a record for the current configuration of Kyle Field.
  • The majority of Kyle Field’s student section is located directly behind the opponent’s bench area with 28,000-plus students stretching endzone-to-endzone on three decks.
  • Kyle Field is the largest stadium in the Southeastern Conference; fourth-largest in college football; and fifth-largest among all stadiums in the world. Kyle Field has a stadium capacity of 102,733.
  • Texas A&M has led the SEC in home attendance for three straight seasons.
