The Texas A&M Aggies and Texas Longhorns may not play on the field anymore, but they still do battle when it comes to recruits.

This week, Texas A&M offered 3-star TE Baylor Cupp, then watched as the Longhorns also offered him shortly thereafter.

New A&M assistant Tim Brewster noticed that, and decided to send a tweet on Saturday night calling out the Longhorns for following in A&M’s footsteps:

Brewster has also been an assistant at Texas, but clearly his loyalties lie elsewhere at the moment.

The Aggies have their hands full if they want to compete with Texas for recruiting rankings, as the Longhorns landed the No. 3 overall class and the Aggies checked in at No. 17.

However, with Jimbo Fisher leading the program, change could be coming in the Lone Star State.
