Texas A&M WR Speedy Noil hasn’t quite lived up to the hype he brought from high school.

Expected to be a true No. 1 receiver, Noil struggled with off-the-field issues on multiple occasions.

Wanting a fresh start, Noil made the decision to leave Texas A&M in favor of starting a potential NFL career. He announced this decision on his official Twitter page:

The talent is there for Noil to become a very dynamic player. As a freshman, he caught 46 passes and five touchdowns. It was thought Noil was on the cusp of breaking out. However, he accrued a combined 42 catches and four touchdowns in the last two seasons alone.

Though he had a somewhat disappointing career in College Station, he’ll get a chance to prove himself on the highest level.
