Josh Reynolds made a big impression on those in attendance at Senior Bowl practices. He continued that excellent play with a 39-yard touchdown catch late in the second quarter on Saturday.

The former Aggie scored the first points for the South Team during the Senior Bowl, and he showcased his speed and hands in the process.

Former Cal quarterback Davis Webb threw the deep pass to Reynolds, and he was mic’d up on the sideline after the play. “I saw (Reynolds) one-on-one on the outside, and he’s made plays for me,” Webb explained to his coach.

Webb went back to Reynolds for the two-point attempts, but Reynolds bobbled the ball after initially getting both feet inbounds.

On both plays, Reynolds was lined up against Lamar cornerback Brendan Langley. The cornerback began his college career at Georgia, but he left the program in search of more playing time.

In three years at Texas A&M, Reynolds caught 164 for 2,788 yards and 30 touchdowns. The receiver is projected to be a fourth-round pick, but his stock may be rising quickly after this Senior Bowl week.
