Myles Garrett’s long wait is finally over, he’s headed to Cleveland as the Browns made him the first overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft. Garrett bypassed the option to attend the Philadelphia event in order to spend it with his family back in Texas. Now Garrett and his family will be able to celebrate at home where his journey began.

Judging by the family’s reaction, Garrett and family were on pins and needles until the Browns’ intentions were official when they heard his name called by NFL commissioner Roger Goodell.

Check out the awesome moment Garrett shared with his family upon learning of his destination.

The party has just begun for the former Aggie, as the celebration spanned multiple videos.

Garrett becomes the first ever player from Texas A&M to be selected first overall in NFL draft history. In his three years in College Station, Garrett had 31.5 sacks. He should immediately upgrade Cleveland’s pass rush next season.
