Texas A&M defeated Tennessee, 45-38, in a thrilling double overtime game. The Aggies held a lead for the majority of the contest and held on despite losing a 21-point lead and missing a would-be game winning field goal in regulation.

But A&M prevailed by matching the Vols’ field goal in the first overtime, scoring on a 1-yard run by quarterback Trevor Knight to go ahead and sealing the victory with Armani Watts’ interception.

The Aggies improved to 6-0, their best start since 1994. After the game, the team enjoyed a wild locker room celebration, which was shared by the Aggie Football Life Twitter page.

Texas A&M will have a bye next week before traveling to Alabama on Oct. 22.
