Cal grad transfer OL Dwayne Wallace lands Tennessee offer
Now that the Tennessee Volunteers have their new head coach in Jeremy Pruitt, they’re working hard on the recruiting trails to rebuild their 2018 class.
Unsurprisingly, they’ll also be targeting a few grad transfers, as a veteran presence would help the team rebound from a tough 2017 campaign.
Along the offensive line, the Vols are targeting former Cal OG Dwayne Wallace, as he posted on Twitter on Sunday afternoon that he’d received an offer from Tennessee:

Wallace will reportedly make an official visit to Knoxville on Thursday to check out the campus:
#Tennessee will host former Cal OL/grad transfer Dwayne Wallace this Thursday (Dec. 14) after receiving an offer from new Vols coach Jeremy Pruitt this weekend, Wallace tells @Rivals. Started nine games at RG in 2016 for the Golden Bears before leaving the program in June.

Wallace has starting experience, but didn’t play during the 2017 season after leaving the Cal program back in June.
Still, the 6-4, 350-pound lineman would be a huge addition to the Vols’ roster, as he was once ranked the No. 5 overall offensive guard prospect in the country, per 247Sports.
