Neyland is getting an upgrade.

The latest renovation project to Neyland Stadium was announced last week by Tennessee. You may be wondering if the seating capacity of 102,455 is expanding. It’s not, but the fan experience will be undergoing some major upgrades shortly.

“The groundwork has been laid for proceeding with a much-anticipated investment in Neyland Stadium,” Tennessee Athletic Directer Dave Hart said during the announcement of the plans. “The study encompasses all the essential elements to ensure that Neyland Stadium remains a preeminent college football destination and experience for current fans and future generations alike.”

Some of the planned renovations include: New North & South videoboards, concourse renovations, halftime meeting room, player recruit lounge and new entrances to the stadium itself.
