Vols QB Joshua Dobbs tracks down sad little boy, makes him happy
Tennessee QB Joshua Dobbs was name a 2016 team captain and received the Peyton Manning Award during the festivities at Saturday’s spring game.
It was a big day with smiles all the way around.
That’s why the newly minted leader was not going to let one of his little followers leave the Orange and White game with a frown on his face.
A Vols fan posted a video to Twitter to express a little boy’s disappointment in not meeting the Tennessee quarterback during the spring game.
She tagged Dobbs on the message in hopes of receiving a “shout out” from the little boy’s hero.

But Dobbs did way more than that.

Dobbs found the little guy, and he turned that frown upside down during a photo opp that the little boy is sure to treasure for years to come.
The little boy wasn’t the Vols fan pleased with Dobbs on Saturday, and the rising senior showed his love right back to the Vols fan base during his final spring game on campus:
