For the past three years, former Tennessee LB A.J. Johnson has been embroiled in an ugly legal battle after being accused of rape.

Per the release, Johnson is going to wear jersey No. 62 as he tries to make his NFL dreams come true.

Johnson was certainly a talented linebacker for the Vols, but after three years without football, it remains to be seen what he’ll bring to the Broncos.

He’ll have three preseason games to prove his worth, though, so it’s possible we could see him playing on Sundays this fall.
