Tennessee plays its first SEC game of the season when it hosts Florida on Saturday.

The Vols are 2-1 in their first season under coach Jeremy Pruitt. Now, they’ll play the Gators, who also have a new coach this year in Dan Mullen.

The two schools have met every season since 1990, developing the “Third Saturday in September” rivalry.

For a huge matchup against one of their biggest rivals, the Vols are going with a traditional look — orange jerseys and white pants. The team released a teaser video highlighting the uniform combination on Twitter on Thursday:

Florida leads the all-time series against Tennessee, 27-20. The Gators beat the Vols last season, 26-20, on a game-winning Hail Mary touchdown pass. Tennessee last notched a win in the series in 2016, when it earned a 38-28 win in Knoxville.

Florida won 11 straight meetings between the two schools from 2005-15.

Tennessee is coming off back-to-back wins over East Tennessee State and UTEP. It lost to West Virginia to open the season.

The Vols and Gators are set to kick off at 7 p.m. ET on Saturday.
