Former Tennessee running back Alvin Kamara hasn’t been discussed as much as he deserves, but that could be changing soon as NFL draft season approaches.

NFL Network analyst Mike Mayock spent some time watching Kamara’s film Tuesday night and absolutely loved what he saw from the all-versatile player from Norcross, Georgia:

Between his ability to run, catch and contribute to special teams, Kamara totaled 2,261 yards and 24 touchdowns in 24 games with the Volunteers throughout his career in Knoxville.

CBS Sports lists Kamara as the No. 7 running back prospect among others in the 2017 class, projecting him as a third- or fourth-round selection. Walter Football, on the other hand, joins Mayock in the notion that Kamara could be taken much earlier.
