Peyton Manning may be retired from football, but his days of winning awards aren’t over just yet.

On Saturday, Manning was named the “Tennessean of the Year” by the Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame, according to the Associated Press:

Bill Emendorfer, the Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame’s executive director, said in a statement that “we have honored many outstanding individuals in the past 50 years, but none greater than Peyton.”

The award is given annually to someone who has made significant contributions to sport in the state of Tennessee.

Manning ended his NFL career last season by leading the Denver Broncos to a victory over the Carolina Panthers in Super Bowl 50.
