Mixon, a former 3-star defensive tackle in the class of 2013, appeared in 37 games over the past three seasons, recording 19 total tackles, including 3.5 for loss and a sack. He was also responsible for 2 pass breakups and 3 quarterback hurries.
Mosley, a 4-star defensive tackle in the 2014 class, was originally an offensive lineman for the Vols, but switched back to defensive line in 2016 to provide depth. He appeared in four games off the bench in 2016 as a redshirt sophomore.
The two remain enrolled in classes at UT.
UT announced Charles Mosley and Dimarya Mixon are still enrolled in school, but are no longer members of the football team.
