Earlier this week, the New Orleans Saints announced they had signed former Tennessee LB Colton Jumper.

Jumper, along with others, competed in a two-day rookie minicamp for the Saints. Jumper previously played for the Saints after going undrafted out of college, but he was later waived by the team. The former UT walk-on played in the AAF for the Memphis Express this spring prior to the league closing its doors. He made 18 tackles and one tackle for loss in eight games.

Jumper played at Tennessee from 2014-17 where he eventually became a scholarship player and an everyday starter. The Lookout Mountain, Tennessee, native recorded 126 total tackles and 4.5 sacks during his Vols career.

The defender joins former Vols Alvin Kamara and Shy Tuttle on the Saints roster.
