The Volunteers appear to be set at receiver for the 2018 recruiting cycle following the commitment of Florida native Shocky Jacques-Louis. At one point a Kentucky commit — he decommitted June 11, Jacques-Louis has once again jumped at the chance to play in the SEC East, trading in the Blue Grass for Rocky Top.

The 6-foot-1, 175-pound Jacques-Louis is rated as a three-star prospect, the No. 77 receiver in the nation and the No. 72 overall prospect from the Sunshine State for 2018 by 247Sports Composite Ratings. He chose the Vols over scholarship offers from Georgia, Kentucky, Michigan, South Carolina and Missouri among others.

Following this commitment, Tennessee now has 22 total pledges secured for the 2018 recruiting cycle; three of which come at the receiver position. Alontae Taylor and Jatavious Harris have already committed to the playing in Knoxville. The Volunteer class currently ranks as the SEC’s best and the No. 6 overall class in the nation.
