Things are getting bad in Knoxville.

Entering Saturday’s game at South Carolina as the favorite to win the SEC East, Tennessee was upset by the Gamecocks, 24-21, leading to its third conference loss.

Once again, the Vols fell behind early, which has become their calling card in 2016. During its first five games, Tennessee managed to overcome first half deficits by rallying in the second half. But lately, that hasn’t been the case.

According to Josh Ward of Sports Radio WNML in Knoxville, the Vols haven’t held a lead in regulation since their win over Georgia on Oct. 1.

Since then, Tennessee has lost all three of its games consecutively, beginning with its double overtime loss at Texas A&M. Perhaps the luck has run out on Rocky Top.
