Tennessee added another player to its 2016 signing class Monday. Three-star running back Jeremy Lewis enrolled at UT for the second session of summer classes, Ryan Callahan of GoVols247 reported.

Lewis was originally signed to Trinity Valley Community College in Athens, Texas after decommitting from Arkansas State in January. The 6-foot-1, 193-pound back also received offers from Nebraska, Ohio and Tulsa.

Lewis is expected to replace injured running back Joe Young and, pending an academic snag, should join the Vols in time for the team’s preseason camp on Aug. 1, according to sources. Tennessee had four scholarship backs — junior Jalen Hurd, junior Alvin Kamara, sophomore John Kelly and freshman Carlin Fils-aime — before adding Lewis.
