The Tennessee Volunteers are off to a decent start in the 2020 recruiting cycle, and things are trending upward. However, on Tuesday, they added player No. 2 to the next year’s class, picking up a 2021 athlete out of Chattanooga.

That athlete is Elijah Howard, who attends Baylor School. He announced on Tuesday that he was committing to the Vols.

As you can see below, he posted a video on his Twitter account to break the news that he’d be heading to Knoxville in a couple of years:

Howard has yet to be rated by the major recruiting services, but he stands at 5-11, weighs 183 pounds and plays running back and safety in high school.

The Vols now have two players in their 2021 recruiting class, which currently ranks No. 21 in the nation and No. 6 in the SEC, per 247Sports.
