For fans, spring games are about getting a preview of what the team will look like in the fall. For the coaches, a big part of the spring game is the opportunity to bring in recruits and show them what a gameday atmosphere is like on campus.

Jeremy Pruitt’s staff picked up a post-spring game commitment Saturday night from Morrow (Georgia) ATH Jimmy Calloway. Listed at 5-11, 166 pounds, Calloway is ranked the No. 60 ATH and No. 84 Georgia product in the 2020 class on the 247Sports Composite. He currently has 12 scholarship offers, including Georgia Tech, Kansas, Kentucky and Oregon. In March, he was named one of the top performers of the Pylon 7-on-7 tournament in Atlanta, getting the attention of Cam Newton.

Calloway made the announcement via his Instagram account in a post embedded below. He is pledge No. 6 for UT in a 2020 class with Composite rankings of No. 8 in the SEC and No. 22 nationally.
