Tennessee picked up a big commitment for it’s 2018 class when Lyn-J Dixon, a top-10 all-purpose back, pledged to UT’s 2018 class.

Four-star APB Dixon, a product of Taylor County (Ga.), announced his plans to play for the Volunteers via his Twitter account.

After Jalen Hurd left the team midseason in 2016, Alvin Kamara Jr. stepped up for UT. Kamara is in the NFL now, and the Vols will be without him this year, but Dixon hopes to help fill that void.

“I love the offense,” Dixon told Volquest’s Jesse Simonton. “I see myself having the same success (Alvin Kamara) had.”

Dixon, who measures 5-foot-10, 178 pounds, is rated the No. 6 all-purpose back, No. 32 Georgia prospect and No. 307 overall recruit on the 247Sports Composite. His highlights can be viewed below:
