There are more than enough storylines to go around in the SEC for 2016, which is usually the case.

But the most interesting team in the SEC this season is Tennessee. Following a one-year tease from Lane Kiffin and a three-year disaster from Derek Dooley, Butch Jones has the program back on track.

Overwhelming favorites in the East, the Volunteers don’t have a lot of questions about the on-the-field product. From offense to defense to special teams, they have a ton of returning starters and experience in every phase of the game. Now it’s time to live up to the hype and advance to Atlanta.

If Jones and Co. are indeed for real in 2016, not only is that good for residents in Knoxville, but that’s good for the conference. But if they aren’t, the ramifications might affect the entire league.
