While Tennessee’s offense has certainly been affected by poor offensive line play during the first three games of the season, there’s hope entering the Florida game that things could be changing thanks to the potential return of sophomore lineman Chance Hall.

After struggling up front for much of last season, Tennessee’s offensive line found its rhythm once the 6-foot-4, 318-pound Hall was inserted into the starting lineup for the last seven games of the 2015 season. Looking like a potential starter at right tackle in fall camp, Hall suffered an injury and was forced to undergo surgery to his right knee late in fall camp.

With his rehab complete, Hall has returned to the practice field and could potentially play against Florida.

During his Monday press conference, head coach Butch Jones indicated Hall’s potential to see the field against Florida would not be determined until he could be evaluated at practice. Judging by this practice video, Hall looks like his old self:

Considering Florida currently leads the nation with 16 total sacks, the Vols’ O-line could use all the help they can get this weekend in order to slow down the formidable Gator defense this weekend.

Even if he is fully healthy, will Hall be up to the task of facing Florida without any live game reps?
