WATCH: Former Vols DE Derek Barnett makes momentum-swinging strip-sack against Minnesota
Former Tennessee (and current Eagles) DE Derek Barnett continues to make plays at football’s highest level.
On Sunday, in the second quarter of the NFC Championship game with the Eagles leading the Vikings 14-7, Barnett made a strip-sack against QB Case Keenum, who was driving his team down the field and already in the red zone.
On the ensuing drive just before halftime, Eagles QB Nick Foles hit former South Carolina WR Alshon Jeffery for a 53-yard TD to put Philadelphia up 21-7.
Barnett was the No. 14 overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft, and he’s living up to the hype. What a play!
