The early returns of the Jeremy Pruitt era suggest bright days are ahead for the Tennessee football program.

That’s something Tennessee’s AD Phillip Fulmer backed up this week, stating, “Four months (after hiring Pruitt), I’m even more sure that he’s the right guy.” He also discussed how difficult season tickets are going to be to acquire once the program starts rolling under the new Tennessee coach.

With Fulmer signing a four-year contract in Knoxville to be AD, the former Tennessee coach clearly wants to see the mission on Rocky Top to the end and help Pruitt in any way possible as he takes over his first football program as head coach.

On the same day it was announced Fulmer had agreed to his four-year contract, the Tennessee AD posted the following video heading into Pruitt’s first Orange & White spring game. Here is the caption Fulmer added to the video he posted on Twitter:

“Eager to join Vol Nation at Saturday’s spring game and to watch Coach Pruitt and his team cap a successful spring season.

“Together we can accomplish much!”
