Though Peyton Manning has been enjoying his retirement, starring in commercials and hosting the ESPYs, among other things, he still found time on Wednesday to drop by his alma mater.

The 2017 Tennessee Volunteers got quite the treat when the two-time Super Bowl champion stopped by the facility to deliver a motivational message.

The main point of Manning’s message was togetherness, as he stressed to the squad that it was important to always have your teammates’ backs:

Manning played for the Vols from 1994 to 1997, leading Tennessee to the SEC title in 1997. He currently holds the NFL career records for passing yards (71,940) and touchdowns (539), among other records.

Based on the end of his speech, it sounds like Manning will be in Atlanta on Monday, Sept. 4, for the Vols’ season opener against Georgia Tech at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
