More fans attended Gators' spring game than Vanderbilt-Florida contest
The football culture at Vanderbilt is obviously not as big as Florida’s, but the disparity is staggering when put in numbers.
Today's attendance at the UF-Vandy game is 30,565, less than the total at the UF spring game.

That’s right — more people turned up for the Gators’ spring game than for an SEC East matchup in October. Those who showed up at Vanderbilt Stadium, however, haven’t had much to be excited about.
No. 23 Florida (3-1, 1-1) currently leads the Commodores (2-2, 0-1) 10-6 late in the third quarter of a defensive struggle. The Gators have only 137 total yards to Vanderbilt’s 216, and both teams are averaging less than 4 yards per completion.
