Harvey Updyke ‘wishes he didn’t kill those trees just so he could do it again’

It’s Iron Bowl eve, and of course it wouldn’t be an Iron Bowl weekend if Harvey Updyke didn’t make some kind of stupid statement or inference about Toomer’s Oaks.

Of course he did.

Fresh out of jail and Alabama dreamin’, Updyke isn’t feeling any remorse for damning one of the best traditions in college football and poisoning the Oaks.

Updyke made a Facebook post that said he wished now that he didn’t poison Toomer’s Oaks…just so he could it again.

Updyke was in jail for six months and was ordered to pay $800,000 in restitution for poisoning the trees.

There’s clean and fun trash talk between Alabama and Auburn like this, then Updyke takes everything to another stratosphere.
