Ole Miss’ Laquon Treadwell suffered one of the most unfortunate and awful injuries a player could endure against Auburn. Treadwell played perhaps his best football game as a Rebel, catching 10 passes for 103 yards and one touchdown, but he unfortunately couldn’t finish because of his season-ending injury that almost became the winning touchdown.

You can read more about his injury and surgery here, and you can watch a video of it here.

Treadwell posted this message on his Instagram account Sunday, vowing to come back stronger and thanking fans for their support and prayers.

“Not everything in life is set out to be easy, & not every plan we have for ourselves work out in our favor. Even the greatest & most powerful people we praise or look up to have huge downfalls, but it takes a strong person & an even stronger mindset to prepare for that major come back. It didn’t kill me, so watch as I become stronger. Thanks for the prayers everyone, God bless.”
