Alabama football fans were excited last season when UA brought back playing “Dixieland Delight” by country legends Alabama at Crimson Tide football games. Recently, however, fans and media members alike have noticed the song being cut short.

Alex Brehm, fiddle player for Five Card Draw and stats analyst for Crimson Crossover according to his Twitter bio, tagged Alabama AD Greg Byrne in his tweet.

His tweet got the attention of Byrne. In his reply, Byrne said Bryant-Denny Stadium fans will likely hear the fiddle solo in two weeks.

Two weeks from now, “Dixieland Delight” will likely be one of the last things fans are thinking about as No. 1 Alabama and No. 2 LSU will be battling in Tuscaloosa.
