On Friday, Alabama lost DL Quinnen Williams, OL Jonah Williams, RB Josh Jacobs and TE Irv Smith Jr. to the NFL Draft, and on Saturday, they lost another key player.

DB Saivion Smith — a big part of the Alabama secondary — announced that he was forgoing his senior season and entering the draft.

As you can see below, Smith made his announcement via Twitter on Saturday evening, thanking his coaches and teammates:

Smith had three interceptions this year, including two against Mizzou. He also had one against Arkansas State.

Where he goes in the draft remains to be seen, but now Alabama has a hole to fill in its secondary moving forward.
