Apparently, Tony Brown wants to make the most of his upcoming trip to Oregon for the NCAA Track and Field Championships.

The talented Alabama defensive back had already earned a spot in the Men’s 100 Meters semifinals, which will be held on June 7, but he then qualified for a second event on Saturday.

Brown’s 4×100-meter relay team finished with a time of 39.07, according to the official results. Alabama actually finished fourth among the teams that competed in the first heat, but the NCAA advances the top three from each of the three heats plus the next best three overall times. Although the Tide finished fourth in their heat, they had the sixth best time overall and earned a qualifying spot.

Individually, Brown qualified with a time of 10.39 second in the 100 Meters. He finished third in the sixth heat, which guaranteed him a spot in Oregon, and his time was 10th among all participants.

The NCAA Track and Field Championships will take place from June 7-10 in Eugene, Ore.
