Alabama flips top punter prospect Skyler Delong from Tennessee
Just two weeks ago, Tennessee secured a commitment from the nation’s top punter prospect. Needless to say, that didn’t last long.
Skyler Delong has flipped his commitment from the Vols to Alabama. Delong, a South Carolina native, is ranked by 247Sports Composite Ratings as the nation’s No. 1 punter prospect for the 2018 recruiting cycle.
Here’s a video of Delong booting the ball courtesy of Kohl’s Kicking Camps.

Alabama will have a huge hole to fill on the roster at punter in 2018 with the scheduled departure of four-year starter JK Scott. If Delong lives up to the hype, he could prove to be an ideal candidate to replace arguably the best punter in school history.
Alabama now has four total commitments pledged to join the program for the 2018 recruiting cycle.
