If you didn’t foresee Auburn having such a great season this year, you apparently weren’t alone.

Recent comments from Alabama sophomore Dazon Ingram suggest he’s having a hard time believing the Tigers stand alone atop the SEC standings at this point in the season. The 23-3 Tigers are coming off a 76-66 home win against Kentucky and hold a two-game lead over second-place Tennessee in the SEC standings.

For what it’s worth, one of Auburn’s few losses this season was to Alabama. The two teams will meet again Wednesday at Auburn in the final regular season matchup between the two heated rivals. Of course, Alabama and Auburn could meet in the upcoming SEC Tournament.

Considering how well each is playing recently, there’s a chance both schools meet in one of the tournaments final games.
