In-person recruiting visits may be on hiatus at the moment, but basketball and football players are still able to commit to schools.

The Alabama men’s basketball team added a huge player to their roster on Sunday, dipping into the JUCO ranks to pick up a 4-star combo guard.

As you can see below, Keon Ellis announced via Twitter that he was committing to coach Nate Oats and the Crimson Tide:

Per the 247Sports rankings, Ellis is the No. 3 overall JUCO prospect in the 2020 class, the No. 1 combo guard and the No. 1 JUCO prospect from Florida.

Prior to Ellis’s commitment, Alabama had 2 players in its 2020 class, which ranked No. 42 in the nation and No. 9 in the SEC, per 247Sports.
